Wymondham Open Gardens - a short note of appreciation

A big thank you to all the gardeners who opened their gardens for Wymondham Open Gardens on the weekend of June 9-10.

Over 30 gardens opened for the bi-annual event, where beautiful local gardens are made open for the public to visit over a weekend.

All the gardens looked wonderful and received very positive feedback. Star Throwers' garden was one of those open and so we appreciate all the hard work that must've gone in to get the gardens ready for the event, especially considering the recent weather!

Our thanks also to the event organisers and all those who have donated raffle prizes, plants and books to make the Open Gardens a success.

Star Throwers are very grateful to have been chosen as one of two charities to benefit from the event. The total raised from the event was an amazing £5440, which has been split equally between Wymondham Heritage Museum and Star Throwers.

Last but not least, thank you to everyone to came along to the Open Garden weekend. We hope you enjoyed your visits and we're glad the weather held up over the two days! Thank you for supporting our cause.
